With a generous donation from The Nippon Foundation to The Centre for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies (CSLDS) of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), the Asia Pacific Sign Linguistics Research and Training Program was established to offer training opportunities for deaf and hearing students as well as to conduct research activities in documenting sign languages in Asia and the Pacific. We are pleased to announce the Nippon Foundation Scholarship for Sign Linguistics in Asia (2021/22) for students interested in pursuing postgraduate training in sign linguistics and developing a career related to sign language research and training.
