Thanks to the support of the U.S. Consulate General for Hong Kong and Macau, the Centre for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies is honored to invite three distinguished scholars in the field of Neurolinguistics and Deaf Education - Dr. David Corina (University of California - Davis), Dr. Christopher Kurz (Rochester Institute of Technology) and Dr. Susan Lane-Outlaw (Metro Deaf School – St. Paul, Minnesota) to conduct a series of public seminars on 14 & 15 August 2015 to address how sign language, sign bilingualism and visual learning could benefit children"s development in practical education situations, with support from research evidence. The two-day seminar series are tailored for different audiences to ensure the best experience. Details as follows:
