    • teach deaf students based on the philosophy of bilingualism\/biculturalism in deaf education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • understand concepts in deaf history, deaf education history and deaf community from the perspective of deaf ideology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • appreciate the linguistic nature of sign language;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • examine the similarities and differences between sign and spoken languages; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • understand the language, cognitive, social and psychological development of deaf children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Have completed Form 5 education level (under HKCEE) or Secondary 6 education level (under HKDSE) or obtained equivalent qualifications.
      Equivalent qualification: for example, completed grade 11 on the UK National Curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Remarks: preferably have some teaching experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
