The Sign Bilingualism and Co-enrolment Education Practices in a Kindergarten
Drawing on the successful experience of the Sign Bilingualism and Co-enrolment Education Programme of the Centre for Sign Linguistics and Deaf Studies, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, our kindergarten has carried out the practice of such co-enrolment programme in 2017. We promoted the all-round development and inclusion of deaf and hearing children in the whole kindergarten through strategies such as increasing the participation of parents of deaf and hearing children and exploring the effectiveness of sign bilingual cooperation.
