The first bimodal-bilingual co-enrollment program in Germany: overview and first results
In 2016 the first German bimodal-bilingual co-enrollment program for deaf and hard-of-hearing students, codas and other hearing children has been established in Erfurt, Thuringia. The talk will describe the necessary preconditions for the project, the political circumstances of the establishment of bimodal-bilingual co-enrollment, and the experiences and results after the first 5 years.
